Sports: Wilfred Ndidi, Ighalo, and Osimhen shortlisted in 30-man list for 2019 African Player of the Year Award

Nigerian footballers, Wilfred Ndidi, Odion Ighalo and Victor Osihmen have been nominated for the 2019 African Player of the Year Award by Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The three Nigerian stars who play for Lecister City, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua and Lille respectively, were shortlisted alongside 27 African footballers including the previous winner, Mohamed Salah of Egypt and Liverpool for the award.
