IPOB SHOULD RECONSIDER THE DANGERS OF ITS AGITATIONS - ENANG
Arising from the increasing cases of bloodletting as a result of the agitations by the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra,IPOB, Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC,Hon. Emmanuel Enang has advised the Leadership of the group to reconsider the security implications for the South East people and beat a retreat on their agitations.
Enang said Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Egba must think more about the people of the South East than what it described as "unnecessary agitations".
He stated that "no proper and worthy agitation succeeds on regular bloodletting of the people it is made for."
According to him: "Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Egba cannot have their people completely annihiliated and then turn around to govern empty spaces of land because they want to secede.".
Enang urged the Agitators to read history books and learn from the Nigeria civil war experience to beat a retreat instead of beating the drums of war and annihilation for their people.
"Instead of beating drums of war that may lead to massive loss of lives of the Igbos this time, the twosome should go and read history books of the civil war days, learn and understand what really befell the people of the South East as a result of the debacle.".
He said the political leaders and leaders of thoughts in the region should vehemently oppose and reject the agitations by the IPOB/ ESN and other such groups rather than push for the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu stating that such move by the Leaders only explains that they are not interested in ending the insecurity in the South East.
