REVIEW YOUR INFORMATION & MEDIA RELATIONS STRATEGIES,SO MUCH IS WRONG IN THAT DIRECTION - ENANG TELLS OTU.

National Coordinator, Neighbourhood Coalition, a sprowling socio-political support organisation of the All Progressives Congress, APC says the approach to Information, Public Relations and Media Relations coming from the Cross River State Government must be overhauled to make room for much of showcasing of the areas the state has comparative  advantage.

Enang who was Spokeperson for the Presidential Campaign Council, PCC in the South South Zone said the Governor, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu must also consider the Government's Public and Media Relations mechanism to allow for flexibility in relating with the public and getting the envisaged outcome.

When you get public confidence on your side, you are bound to go far in the Administration of the state. However, to achieve that is to review current strategy in the management of public information and relating with the Media," Enang maintained.

According to him, "the idea of allowing the Social Media Junks to be the first with the official news in speculative manner though, is not a healthy practice at all.

"We must review it to move forward because it is a dangerous precedent to allow official secrets in public domain before the official templates for letting them out are released.".

He urged the Government to borrow a leaf from the Asiwaju Bola Tinubu led Federal Government on the issue of information management stating also that such approach helps to build public respect and confidence in the Administration.
