TINUBU'S MINISTERS MUST BE READY TO WORK - ENANG.

As Nigerians await the appointments of Ministers and other  Government Functionaries by President Bola Tinubu,National Coordinator of Neighbourhood Coalition,Hon. Emmanuel Stephen Enang has said that those who would make the list of such appointess must be ready to work round the clock to ensure the expectations of Nigerians are met to a greater extent.

Enang said in an exclusive interview in Calabar, Tuesday, that Nigerians will not tolerate excuses from any appointee who fails to deliver on assigned responsibility particularly when such responsibility has a direct bearing on the welfare of the populace.

According to him: " Tinubu's Ministers and others to be so appointed must come to terms with the Can Do spirit of their Principal, who is himself a Go-getter."

He emphasized that in meeting the expectations of Nigerians, there must be an extra push by the appointees to deliver on assigned responsibility.

"The huge expectations of Nigerians must be met no matter the circumstance the appointees find themselves, and in doing this there has to be some extra commitment on their part.

"Nigerians would not accept excuses for any failure, and not at all coming from this Administration which is already seen to be endowed with the capacity and capability to handle challenges of any magnitude."

He contended that the current reality of economic hardship in the country call for a serious commitment to the masses  adding that the appointees must follow the footsteps of President Tinubu to be able to prioritise and protect the people's interest above all else.

Enang who was also the Spokesman for the defunct Presidential Campaign Council, PCC in the South South Zone, remarked that Nigerians would not also hesitate to call for the removal of any appointee who is found wanting in the discharge of his or her responsibility.

Enang added that the President would have no option that to sack any derelict from his position "especially when the voice of the masses speaks strongly against his continued stay in office.".

He remarked that the success of the Administration will be at a greater extent, be hinged on the ability of the appointees to work their hearts out in the best interest of Nigerians adding that President Tinubu is prepared to leave a legacy of excellence and quality leadership and therefore would not accept acts of dereliction.
