The Sparrow Football Academy has continued to demonstrate their skill and tenacity in their most recent match against Green Dammy that ended 1:0 in the Sparrians Favour. The team's hard work and dedication paid off, despite difficult conditions on the pitch.
The game's only goal was scored by Ajayi Sodiq, and the team's goalkeeper, Oluyemi Emmanuel, was instrumental in the team's success.
The game happened to be the second encounter between both teams on GREEN DAMMY’s ground and both matches were in Favour of the Sparrians.

The goal didn’t came in until towards the end of the 2nd half courtesy a brilliant free kick from our defender. During the first half, all the efforts from the Sparrians were abortive, no thanks to the slippery surface.

According to the Head Coach; Jonathan Opara “This match is part of preparation ahead of many programs. The larger percentage of the Sparrians started as novice to the round leather game and I am happy that we can come this far. We have played 7 games, 3 winning, 3 Draws and 2 losses and I am pleased so far but we not relax.

The Academy's next match is against ACME DYNAMITE FC at Joju stadium, Sango Ota.
